Hot diggity dog, a cat fight between two women cops when one catches the other with her husband.

Deputy Edeania Nettles was the clear winner in the punching, hair-pulling and clawing cat fight, but unfortunately for the aggrieved wife, she has now been fired.

An Osceola County deputy sheriff was fired Thursday in the wake of her arrest on a charge of battering a female police officer she found at a park with the deputy's husband.

Deputy Edeania Nettles was let go after an internal investigation found her in violation of Sheriff's Office policy, a department spokeswoman said.

Nettles, 39, was suspended after she was accused of punching St. Cloud police Officer Jennifer Hoyos, 26, in the face and yanking Hoyos out of her patrol car by the hair.

During the confrontation about 10:45 p.m. Oct. 2, Nettles' husband, St. Cloud police Sgt. Elbert John Nettles, 36, tried to separate the woman, an arrest report states. He was at Ted Broda Memorial Park in St. Cloud with Hoyos, who was on duty, according to the report.

After the dust-up, Hoyos had a skinned knee, bloody lips, scratches on her neck and a clump of hair pulled out, investigators said.

Edeania Nettles was arrested on a charge of battery on a law-enforcement officer.

John Nettles received a written reprimand in 2012 after he accidentally shot off half of a fellow SWAT team member's right middle finger during a drug raid. In 2011, he was one of two St. Cloud officers who shot a woman dead when they were called to a dispute between roommates.
