WHERE ARE TRUMP’S TAX RETURNS?

During a Congressional hearing, California Rep. Adam Schiff asked former Trump chief of staff John Kelly why the president was withholding his tax returns.

Kelly replied that Trump was not trying to withhold his tax returns, he just hasn’t been able to retrieve them after securing them in a very safe place.

Schiff than asked Kelly where that safe place was.

Kelly replied, “It’s where Barack Obama hid his birth certificate, college records, his passport application, his immigration status as a student, his funding sources to pay for college, his college records, and his Selective Service registration.”

Schiff turned to Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro and was overheard whispering, “Shit, they’ll never find those fucking tax returns.”

There is no law that makes it mandatory for a Presidential candidate to show tax returns. I wouldn't show them.

Nor would I.

Great comeback by Kelly.

I think he is only hurting himself by refusing to release them. People understand that a business owner will do everything legal to reduce his tax burden. Biden, or whoever the nominee is, will make this an issue when simply releasing them will
Render the arguments moot.

To anon, how will "simply releasing them"..."render the arguments moot?"

Do you think Trump's tax returns, are simple 4 or 5 page documents like you and I file every year? With all his business ventures and real estate holdings? Really?

Polsoi's cronies will comb through those documents and claim they contain all sorts of nefarious bullshit that the average reader (or listener) will have no clue in deterring whether there is any truth to any of it. That should be obvious by now. To everyone who is either honest of not a fool.

I'm still remembering how Harry Reid lied about claiming Mitt Romney paid no taxes (the little pervert later admitted it) during the last election process. The left is dishonest. There's no reason to give them fodder.
