A single report hit the wire late yesterday indicating that DMV was shutting down most public access to it's offices for the immediate future. The report I saw did not say specifically when this would happen but implied it would be soon. Some people, principally DUI offenders, have court mandated need for DMV visits to deal with license restrictions. I am unsure how they will get around that but they may come up with something.
