COSTCO STOPS CARRYING BRAND OVER NON-HUMAN SLAVE LABOR

by Bob Walsh

Costco has dropped the sale of Chaokoh coconut milk because the producer uses non-compensated monkeys to pick the coconuts.

The monkeys get food and board but are not paid a wage, which is apparently unethical.

I dropped Costco this month. They had a few things I bought but most of it I didn't need. The $100 a year to shop wasn't worth it. Two people live in my house. Gallon containers of olives and other such items I don't need. I could find the beer cheaper at HEB.
