Club Q (Q stands for queer)
A 22 year old asshole named Anderson Lee Alditch decided
to enter CLUB Q in Colorado Springs last night about midnight and shoot
the place up. He managed to kill five people. Another 18 were injured
though it is not at all clear if they were all shot or some were injured
in the process of enthusiastically seeking cover.
Two
denizens of the club jumped his ass and held him for police. A long
gun and a hand gun were recovered at the scene. It appears that the
long gun was the primary or only weapon used.
The feds are all over this as a suspected hate crime, though they are pretending to let the locals run the investigation.
The Colorado Governor, who is an openly gay man, is understandably irritated by the crime.
I
don't get it. If you are bothered by gay people why not just stay the
hell out of gay night clubs. Seems like an easy thing to me.
By
the way, a Colorado Springs man of the same name was arrested last year
for threatening to blow his mother up with a bomb. It is not sure yet
that that fine young man is the shooter but the cops are looking into
it. Also the source and ownership of the firearms is being thoroughly
investigated.
