OBAMA CAMPAIGNS TO OVERCOME THE ‘HOPE AND CHANGE’ THAT HAS TURNED TO SLUDGE

The president has all his ducks lined up while the inept Republican candidates – Romney, Santorum, Gingrich – are chopping each other to bits.

President Obama has launched his re-election effort. He’s kicking it off with no official governing business today; instead he’s spending the day at campaign and fundraising events. Five of them, to be exact.

He’s already spent $345,000 of campaign dough on a propaganda film about his life and “achievements” in office. He’s already attended more fundraisers at this point in his term than any other president. He’s already got a tech office set up in Silicon Valley to carpet-bomb social media with campaign messages and organizing. In fact, Politico reports today that he’s got high-tech operations already watching you on the web. He’s already been alighting on college campuses to get the kids riled up. And he’s been egging on the Far-Left as they orchestrate bogus “movements” like Occupy Wall Street and the “war on women.”

So while he’s officially launching his campaign today, he actually hasn’t stopped campaigning since 2004, when he kicked off his national presence at the Democrat National Convention. Campaigning is what he does, and he’s really good at it. The GOP is still mired in a protracted primary race, which means that Obama is enjoying a really long lead time.

The problem for Obama is that unlike in 2008, he actually has a record this time, and it ain’t pretty. He’s going to have a much tougher time now that “hope and change” has turned to sludge. But the Republicans had better be aware of all of the weapons Obama already has working in his political arsenal, and start now—even absent a nominee—to line up our own. Running against Obama is serious business. Time to get serious.
