STOCKTON - A father and son disarmed and subdued a teenager who tried to rob them Wednesday afternoon.

Alvin Greer, 19, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and possessing a weapon after officers were called about 2 p.m. to the 500 block of South Grant Street, according to the Stockton Police Department.

Police allege Greer pointed a gun at the 52-year-old man as he and his son were doing construction in the area. The man disarmed Greer, and the robber was held down by the pair until help arrived, police said.
