Conrad Hafen used to be a Justice of the Peace in Los Vegas. Over the period of a couple of years beginning in December of 2014 he has been acting kind of squirrely. Among other things he ordered a public defender handcuffed when she refused to stop talking while she was doing her lawyer thing in relation to trying to keep a criminal out of jail. He then had her locked up for misdemeanor contempt of court.
Hafen got slammed by the Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline and has been barred for life from serving as a judge in Nevada. Hafen lost his reelection bid.
