Casarez is a resident of the Sacramento area. On July 7-8 an alleged
Anti-Fa member accused him of being a "racist" on the internet.
On
the same day the Sac County S O opened an "investigation" on him.
Apparently it is now a criminal offense to be accused of being a racist
anonymously on Twitter. They determined that he was a firearms owner
because he had purchased a firearm legally thru a licensed dealer in the
state of California. On July 13 A Sac County Sergeant executed a
search warrant on his home and car. Nothing criminal was found but the
judge gave the Sgt some sort of special permission to seize Casarez's
handgun and a "racist" t-shirt. As far as I know an anonymous complaint
from an Anti-Fa member is NOT legal cause under the law to seize a
firearm. Apparently Judge Jaime Roman doesn't know that, or doesn't
give a shit.
Spokeshole
Lacy Nelson from the S O is quoted as saying, "This search warrant it's
the first of its kind at least in the country. As far as how we
obrtained it and were able to serve it......He was posting enough racist
rhetoric and propaganda on Facebook that it was concerning that his
behaviors could become violent in retaliation."
Just
so you know, it is now possible in this country for a completely
anonymous person to arrange, with the connivance of the police and the
courts, to suspend your constitutional rights because somebody doesn't
like something you said. Since this worked one time do you think that
it will not work again?

Really? If you told me that California just made Bank Robbery legal, I would believe it. That place is messed up.
