Speaking at a protest on November
17, Sarandon said frightened Jews in America are 'getting a taste' of
how it feels to be Muslim
Susan Sarandon was, by any reasonable measure, at one time an A list actor. Her agent just dumped her.
United
Talent Agency waved bye-bye to her after she said that Jews are now
getting a taste of what if feels like to be a Muslim in this country.
Melissa
Barrera (I never heard of her) was dropped from the up-coming SCREAM
VII after some fairly blatant anti-Semitic views offered up on social
media. Spyglass, which is producing the latest version of Scream,
announced that they have zero tolerance for antisemitism.
The
WGA (Writers Guild of America) is staying out of the controversy all
together, asserting that there is no consensus of opinion among their
membership on the matter.
Maha
Dakhil, a prominent agent with Creative Artists Agency, resigned her
board post and "stepped back" from her gig as the co-head of the motion
picture department there after sharing a social media post accusing the
state of Israel of genocide. She has since deleted her post.
