A glamorous 911 operator claims she was fired for reporting her boss' sexual harassment - but officials say the two were having a consensual affair for years.

Maille Russell Bonsall, 40, filed a lawsuit claiming she was fired from Delaware County Emergency Services after she reported the alleged sexual harassment and abuse by her boss, former director Tim Boyce, 61.

But Delaware officials say the married mother was fired for secretly recording conversations with bosses. She's also said to have joked about being high on weed while at work, altered timesheets and sent sexts to Boyce on a work phone.

They also claim to have evidence that Bonsall and Boyce were in a 'longstanding romantic relationship' for years.

That is said to be contained within a series of graphic sexts and nude images the pair allegedly sent to one another on their taxpayer-funded work devices.

Bonsall, on her part, said in the lawsuit that Boyce subjected her to 'unwanted verbal, physical and sexual harassment during and after work hours,' including masturbating in front of her, as reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

She claimed Boyce's successors then made her feel unsafe after she reported the alleged abuse, ignoring her and preventing her from doing her job.

'There were reasons I didn’t speak up before,' Bonsall told the Inquirer.

'People are so afraid of retaliation there and everyone being mad at you for being "a rat" and going against them.'

However, county officials say they have evidence that Bonsall repeatedly told Boyce that she loved him via text.

They say Bonsall was fired after they discovered she had been illegally recording conversations with her bosses.

Moreover, officials accused Bonsall of joking about being high on marijuana while on the job and altering her time card.

They also say she refused to participate in their probe of the alleged sexual harassment by Boyce.

Boyce was fired in May, 2024, and is awaiting trial after a different employee accused him of forcibly kissing her and another woman said he made lewd comments and groped her.

He denies any wrongdoing and has pleaded not guilty to criminal charges of assault and harassment.

Bonsall's lawyer Mark Schwartz told the Inquirer she denies any sexual or romantic relationship with Boyce.

Schwartz said county officials knew about Boyce's misconduct and turned a blind eye to iy.

Bonsall worked at the Delaware County Emergency Services for nearly 20 years before her termination.

'There are a lot of hardworking people there that are good people who are in the same toxic environment, where if you stand up for yourself, you know you’re gonna pay for it,' she said.

'So I just want to see that that place is a professional organization with structure that treats people fairly.'

She's bought a nice rack. Text messages on County equipment doesn't lie.

If you are stupid enough to send messages like that on company equipment you deserve to be sacked. And yes, she does have a really nice rack.
