AB1127 would, if passed into law, ban the new sale of
Glock semi-automatic pistols within the state of California, except to
government agencies. The alleged reason is they are "too easy" to
convert to fully automatic fire. The bill does not mention Glock by
name but specifies certain design characteristics that are pretty much
unique to Glock.
The bill
has passed fully thru the Assembly and just passed out of the Senate
Judiciary Committee on a vote of 11-2. It will be heard in the full
senate fairly soon.
There is no doubt that Gavin Newsom will sign it if it gets to his desk.
The bill would not effect those Glock pistols currently legally owned in the state.

I recently bought a Glock for my grandson. IMHO they are absolutely, hands down the most reliable semi-auto pistol made. I still carry my original Glock .40 model 23. with a 3 lb trigger pull. It's as smooth as the inside of a Prom Queen's thighs.
