Two days ago an officer with the Greenville, S.C. police
department was attacked by a bad guy apparently armed with a shotgun
loaded with incendiary "dragon breath" rounds. The attack occurred at
1:49 a.m. as the officer was seated in his car at the Greenville County
Law Enforcement Center office at 4 McGee St. The suspect fired multiple
rounds and then fled in a vehicle.
The officer was treated and then released from a local hospital.
A
suspect was identified and the vehicle was located in Greenville
County. The suspect did not survive the encounter. The exact
circumstances of his demise have yet to be released.
