The
New Holland Police Department, Lancaster County, PA. has shut down
after 99 years and combined with the West Earl Township police
department as one entity.
New
Holland has a population of under 6,000 people while West Earl has a
population base of about 9,000. The West Earl Township PD assures the
residents of New Holland that their police response will not diminish
and that many of the New Holland officers are moving over. The New
Holland police station is closed down, as is their web site.
