STOCKTON WORKING HARD TO MAINTAIN IT'S REPUTATION

There was a shooting today at the big flea market on the 2500 block of South El Dorado St. in Stockton today.  The permanent building houses a lot of businesses, including three or four jewelry stores.  There was an attempt to rob one of them, leaving three people on the ground, two of those dead.  Right now the cops have no identified suspects or getaway vehicle.

In a similar vein the Sheriff's Office released two incredibly bad photos of cars that are believed to be connected to the mass shooting at a child's birthday party a month ago in Stockton.  One was silver.  One was white.  Neither are large and both were probably made in this century.  Other than that, not much.  Still no identified suspects or motive that anybody is willing to cop to, except probably gang related.

The price of Gold hovers around $4600 an ounce. They steal it, melt it and sometimes sell it back to the business. Flea market Gold is usually infused with Copper. People are making a living with Gold from electronics which can be separated fairly easily. Silver is $88 per ounce. Flea market silver needs to be tested with a magnet. A silver pre 1965 Quarter can be worth a substantial amount. They are still relatively easy to locate.
