KERRY PRESSURED NETANYAHU WITH THREAT OF INTERNATIONAL DELEGITIMIZATON ‘ON STEROIDS’

Because of its longtime love affair with the Palestinians, the international community seems bent on a path leading to the eventual obliteration of Israel.

KERRY’S SHARP THREAT TO NETANYAHU AHEAD OF PEACE TALKS

Israel's largest daily newspaper, Yediot Ahronot, highlighted on Wednesday the recently reported "sharp" threat made by US Secretary of State John Kerry to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of the resumption of American-driven Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.

According to American journalist Jeffrey Goldberg, who is close to the Obama Administration, "Kerry, capitalizing on [Israel's] anxiety, has warned Netanyahu…that if the current peace talks bear no fruit, Israel may soon be facing an international delegitimization campaign -- in his words – 'on steroids.'"

US government sources cited by Goldberg said the Obama Administration "thinks the one thing Netanyahu fears as much as Iran's nuclear program is the growing power of the international movement that seeks to isolate, scapegoat and demonize his country."

Kerry stated yesterday that he had an "open, honest and direct" conversation with Netanyahu, particularly concerning America's ongoing view of the Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria as "illegitimate."

Bilateral talks were scheduled to officially get underway in Jerusalem on Wednesday, though for the time being the negotiations are only at the ministerial level.
