ONE LESS BURGLAR IN THE WORLD

A couple of burglars chose the wrong house to break into in Min Hill N.C. on Tuesday. One is dead, the other one is in deep legal trouble.

Anna Marie Wyant, 73, and her 14-year old grandson were in the home. Both were sick and they were sort of taking care of each other. The grandparents had a gun as they had been the victim of a couple of break-ins in the past. The youngster went to the kitchen to get some munchies for grannie when he heard glass break, and saw a bad guy halfway in the window. The kid told the bad guy to take off. He kept coming so the kid put three bullets in his happy ass, killing him very completely dead.

The dead guy was Isai Robert Delcid, 18. The not-dead guy, his brother Carlos Delcid, is now a guest of the county in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg jail. He is facing burglary charges. (I don’t know if North Carolina has a felony murder law or not.)

The 14-year old’s father was shot to death in an auto repair shop he owned in 2008. Two men are in prison for that crime.

So far the cops are calling this shooting justifiable homicide. In California the grandparents could be facing criminal charges for having a gun where a minor could get hold of it. I guess the legislature in North Carolina is not comprised of idiots like ours is.
