THE UNIVERSE MAY BE MUCH DIFFERENT THAN WE THOUGHT … OR NOT

It is generally acknowledged that there are four forces that make the universe work. They are gravity, electromagnetism, the strong nuclear force and the weak nuclear force. The latter two hold atoms together and govern interactions of subatomic particles.

Physicists have now identified a fifth basic force that may, or may not, exist. This force is carried by a particle called “boson x.” This force is kind of like electromagnetism but it acts on electrons and neutrons, and ignores protons.

I have no idea what significance this has, but basic knowledge of how the universe works will, in the long run, be good I guess.
