America’s liberal Jews are dismayed because they pulled for a Netanyahu defeat

While President Trump and the few American Jews that are conservative are celebrating Netanyahu’s victory, liberal Jews are dismayed because they pulled for a Netanyahu defeat.

George Soros funded J Street is a left-wing anti-Israel Jewish lobby established to counter the influence of the Soros-hated AIPAC. Here is what J Street president Jeremy Ben-Ami said in an email sent to supporters:

“After several months of political upheaval, intensive mudslinging and down-to-the-wire campaigning, it looks like Israel’s next government is likely to be fairly similar to its last.

The Israeli Right, drawing on the support and the example of President Trump and other ethno-nationalist leaders around the world, has become more extreme in pursuit of its dangerous vision – and increasingly unapologetic about using rhetoric and tactics that undermine democracy, demonize minorities and delegitimize dissent.

In our communities, in Congress and on the presidential campaign trail, we will promote a policy vision to counter the Trump-Netanyahu agenda and ultimately to reverse the terrible damage these leaders have done.”

Netanyahu’s victory is a defeat for self-hating Jews George Soros and Bernie Sanders, the latter having said earlier, “Frankly, I hope he loses his election.” And Netanyahu-hater Barack Obama must be just as unhappy with his victory as he was with Hillary Clinton’s defeat.
