Less
than two weeks ago a remarkably unsuccessful home invasion went down on
Frolic Ave in Waukegan, Illinois. Two brothers, age 34 and 36, forced
their way into a home they approached by pretending to be utility
workers. A woman and her infant were at home in the 650 sq ft house,
along with a very small dog. In additin a roomer, who rented out the
full basement, was at home.
When
the bad guys, Jimmy and Christian Tenorio, pushed their way in the
woman screamed. The basement renter heard the screams and came up the
steps with his semi-auto. He shot Christian, who was armed, and then
retreated to the basement. Brother Jimmy grabbed the gun and his
brother and began to retreat. The basement dweller re-emerged with a
semi-automatic rifle. Both sides started throwing lead.
When the cops showed up they found both brothers on the front lawn, deader than dogshit.
The
male renter was in legal possession of his weapons. Neither of the
dead brothers were in legal possession of the revolver they had.
The dog beat feet during the shooting, but later returned to the house.
