Apparently
somebody thought it would be really cool to retail an "Ann Frank"
costume for Halloween. It consists of a really funky-1940s set of young
girls clothing, complete with a really ugly retro shoulder bag and a
large identity-destination tag visibly clipped to the lapel of the
coat. I guess the wrist tattoo is optional.
It
is, I understand, now being pimped as a "relocation girl" costume,
supposedly reflective of the large number of English (and to some extent
western European children) who were shoved onto trains to get them to
pretty much anywhere but "here."
Either way it is tacky and stupid.
