I
do a lot of recreational reading. Some time back I bought a NOOK
e-book. When it works right it is very handy. I can enlarge the type
face slightly making it much easier to read. It has a back-light built
into it. It has good storage capacity (I have over 1100 books in mine)
and it knows what you've got so it tells you if you already have that
particular book. It also eliminates storage problems. I use to take
100 + books a year into the library book store after I had read them
because I had no storage space.
About
six days ago the system quit letting me in to buy books. Finally two
days ago they sent out an email blast saying they had been the victims
of a cyber attack and that some information may have been compromised.
Their brick-and-mortar stores are barely functioning for hard-copy book
sales. The e-book system is totally down. I can still read what is in
the book right now, but I can't buy anything new.
It truly sucks. Fall TV isn't all that interesting.
EDITOR'S NOTE: What do you mean, fall TV isn't all that interesting? I watch cowboy movies on the Grit channel or movies on the Encore channels.
