In
days gone by you could pretty much count on the Republican to get 40%
of the vote no matter what, and the Democrat to get 40% of the vote no
matter what. The fight happened in the middle. That is still sort-of
the case, but it seems that the middle 20% is getting thinner by the
day.
We are getting more
politically polarized. (Yes, that includes me.) Used to be the
Republicans thought the Democrats were wrong and the Democrats thought
the Republicans were evil. Now both sides think the other side is
evil.
People on the left
are asserting that BLM and AntiFa rioters are "justified" because Trump
is so evil. Or their actions are " an understandable reaction" to
Trump's evilness. Or that looting is a justifiable exercise in personal
reparations, presumably because Nike or Macy's held slaves at one
time. (?)
Otherwise normal people are wishing-hoping on public forums that Trump dies from Covid just because he is evil.
Liberal supporters of Biden-Harris are stealing Trump signs and throwing rocks thru windows where Trump signs are present.
I
realize this crap happened before but it seems to me that it is
happening MORE and MORE OPENLY and with more people trying to justify
their actions by saying TRUMP IS EVIL. (Or, presumably, that Biden is
evil to a lesser extent. Trump supporters don't tend to riot and burn
down buildings. They tend to hold peaceful if stupid rallys and pick up
their own trash afterwards.)
I
also still think there is going to be a significant, maybe even a
LARGE, closet Trump vote. You can thank the Cancel Culture and BLM
thugs for that. If you add the SCOTUS nomination fight and the almost
certainly delayed official election results and the four weeks AFTER the
election could be even more "interesting" than the four weeks before
the election.
