'What
about the 210,000 dead Americans?' Joe Biden leads critics accusing
Trump of downplaying COVID after he tells the US 'don't be afraid' and
says he 'led from front' as he returns to White House and takes off his
mask

Joe Biden has strongly criticized Donald Trump for failing to wear a
face mask and being ‘responsible’ for his own COVID-19 infection, asking
rhetorically whether the president felt he was being ‘macho’ by
ignoring the CDC guidelines and rarely wearing a mask.
Biden, speaking
in Florida, said wearing a face mask was the ‘patriotic’ thing to do,
out of respect for your fellow Americans. He spoke shortly after Trump
on Monday night returned home to the White House, after spending three
nights at the Walter Reed hospital, being treated for COVID-19.
The
74-year-old president left the hospital at 6:45pm and flew by Marine One
back to his home. Shortly before 7pm he walked up the steps into the
White House, pausing at the top of the steps to turn, remove his face
mask, and salute the pilots as they prepared to take off again.
His
decision to take off the mask, so publicly, sparked fury on social media
and among cable television anchors.
The president then turned and
recorded a message to a TV crew, still not wearing a face mask.
He will
continue receiving treatment inside the White House as he battles the
virus, and, despite Monday's showy discharge from hospital, his doctors
have cautioned that he is 'not yet out of the woods'.
Staff on Marine
One will now have to quarantine for 14 days and the helicopter will go
through a deep clean.

Donald Trump arrived back at the White House on Monday night, taking off
his face mask to enter the building.
The James S. Brady Press Briefing
Room was sanitized by a White House employee in a hazmat suit.
A number
of White House reporters and staffers have tested positive for COVID-19
after Trump's initial diagnosis.
With Marine One as a backdrop, the
pilots having risked their lives to transport him, he filmed a campaign
ad. The clip was released on Twitter shortly after he returned home, and
Trump said: 'Maybe I am immune?'
The president claimed he had fallen
ill because he had been 'out front' and said: 'Don't let it dominate
you'. 'As your leader I had to do that. I stood out front. I led. I know
there's a risk, a danger, but that's OK,' he said.
The president left
Walter Reed after spending three nights at the hospital being treated
for COVID-19. He walked out the door at 6:40pm with a wave, a thumbs up
and a fist pump before boarding Marine One. At 6:45pm the helicopter
took off from the Bethesda, Maryland facility and flew back to the White
House.
EDITOR'S NOTE: "As your leader I had to do that. I stood out front. I led. I know
there's a risk, a danger, but that's OK," Another idiotic statement. Trump keeps falling on his sword. Get ready for a no fucking good Biden presidency.
