New York doesn't have enough money to hire more cops, but pays rioters who burned down property.

NYC left wing has achieved new heights of stupidity and insanity.
Last week they paid those who rioted in the BLM demonstrations in 2020, and who caused millions of dollars in damages, nearly $10,000 each due to what the city now claims was rough treatment by cops who were doing their best to control a riot.
We don’t have enough money to hire more cops, but we pay a total of $13 million to rioters who burn down property. This is the NYC Council level of intelligence.
Now Mayor Adams has said the city can no longer handle the flood of migrants. No kidding. Once again, their sanctuary city everyone gets shelter policies has come home to roost.
So, of course now he wants you to pay to fix the shelter problem. That
seems perfectly fair since you live elsewhere and have nothing to do
with idiotic NYC policies which you find stupid. Of course your tax
dollars should pay to fix the mess.

The movers and shakers in NYC are suffering from some sort of collective insanity or grotesque stupidity. If they were deliberately trying to sink the city they would be hard-pressed to do a better job than they are doing now.
I wonder how many folks got paid that weren't even there?
