President Trump today signed an
executive order which withdraws taxpayer funding of NPR and PBS. He
said flat-out that taxpayers should not be funding propaganda. I am
inclined to agree with him. I LIKE much of public broadcasting and in
fact am a modest supporting member. I just don't think that they should
be funded by taxpayers any more. 50 years ago it was maybe-probably
important and necessary. Not so much any more.
