The two convicts who escaped from a prison bus a few days ago, killing to correctional officers in the process, were recaptured on Thursday. The truly noteworthy thing about this situation is that they both survived being recaptured. Thirty years ago that wouldn't have happened. Maybe even fifteen years ago. We don't do "Extreme Precaution Apprehension" any more. I am not sure whether or not that is a move forward.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Maybe they survived because they were actually captured by an armed homeowner.
