I went out to my favorite indoor firing range yesterday to exercise some of my relics. I have a Remington 51, a really nice .380 that was made for only a few years during the depression when high cost killed it off. Extremely ergonomic and shoots like a dream. I also have a FN 1919 .380, one of which killed the Archduke Ferdinand and his wife and started WW I. Also a very nice, even elegant, pistol though it has crappy sights. I threw in a couple of Llama miniature 1911s and a new SIG 238 with a steel frame which shoots very comfortably and had excellent sights.
All in all it was a fun and successful day. It's nice when things come together with no hassles.

My old boss, had a Llama .380 he stuck in his waist band. He was once in a hurry to get to the toilet and as he was sitting down the Llama hit the floor, discharged and shot him in the buttocks. Not a very nasty wound but embarrassing non the less.
