A man suggested the military should drop ice into the ocean and fly around the storm in circles in a bid to stop Hurricane Dorian.

The unnamed male unveiled his plan during an interview in Palm Bay, Florida, where he complained about little action being taken to physically combat the storms.

'We know it's getting worse,' the Tommy Bahama-clad man told a reporter from Florida Today, before elaborating on one solution he came up with.

Becoming increasingly frustrated, he looked directly into the camera and delivered his plan to solve the problem.

He said: 'Why don't the Navy come and drop ice in the warm water so it can't get going as fast as it's going?'

Next while gesturing a twirling motion with his finger he added: 'Fly some air force planes around and get the winds going the opposite way.

'The navy, they go in circles they can fight it the other way.'

EDITOR’S NOTE: President Trump should appoint this guy as White House Science Advisor.
