Yesterday
the Oregon State Police announced that they were no longer going to
provide security for the federal court house in Portland. It was really
very simple. They see no reason to waste resources and get their
people hurt when the D A refuses to prosecute people for rioting,
destruction of property, etc. I can't really say I blame them.
Now
Trump is going to give a great big "We tried it your way, now we will
do it my way." With full justification. The fable that withdrawing the
feds would quiet down the "protesters" (rioters) was bullshit in the
first place, and anybody with an IQ above room temperature knew it.
Time
to hook 'em and book 'em and ship them to McNeil Island. I think it's
closed now, but that doesn't mean it is a bad idea. Just put patrol
boats in the water around the island and let the detainees forage for
food. See how much of a bunch of anarchists they are without hot food,
running water or toilet paper..
