Ronald Fleet, 55, of Florida, found out the hard way that being both angry and stupid can have issues.
His
wife left him and went back to her family. That made Fleet angry.
Fleet went to the home and kicked the door in. He had a gun, and fired a
shot as he entered. The homeowner, also armed, also fired. Fleet
retreated, then re-entered the home. The homeowner not cowed by his
.380 automatic, opened fire on Fleet. Fleet died.
The cops are
quite happy with calling it self-defense. One less violent asshole in
the world is a win.
