hitting the broadcast media today says that cast members of the RUST
movie were known to use the prop department guns with live ammunition
for casual live-fire shooting in the vicinity of the set during off
hours. There was known to be live ammunition present in the area that
was not properly secured at times.
None
of this explains why Baldwin would APPARENTLY deliberately aim and
"fire" at the chief photographer, but, if true, it tends to fill in some
missing pieces in how this cascading cluster-fuck happened.
