An
interesting, in fact UNIQUE, thing happened yesterday. A full copy of a
draft ruling in the Mississippi Roe V. Wade case was leaked to
Politico. It could only have come from inside the court. The only
reasonable explanation for it being done is to try to apply pressure to
conservative justices to get them to vote to maintain Roe. In fact some
of the talking heads are already blathering about the brave and upright
person who leaked this document just so people could apply pressure to
those rotten bastard conservatives on the court.
It is being speculated that the Chief Justice will likely address the issue in the next day or two.

I
am GUESSING that it is unlikely to have the effect desired. Also, it
will have a very negative effect on the future of the leaker, assuming
that leaker can be identified. I confess don't know that any laws were
broken, but the leaker is unlikely to get future employment in the field
of law EVER if they can be identified. The question is how hard will
the government pursue the matter. Since the Harris-Biden administration
views abortion on demand as a sacrament they may very well slow-drag
whatever investigation is warranted until nobody really gives a shit.
I will, however, bet the justices are pissed. Even the liberal ones.
EDITOR'S NOTE: “Roe [v. Wade] was egregiously wrong from the start,” Justice Alito writes in an initial majority draft circulated inside the court. (from Politico)
I am sure that none of the Justices leaked that draft. Most likely it was one of the liberal law clerks who leaked it without the knowledge of the Justice he/she serves.
