CA DOES SOMETHING RIGHT....MAYBE-PROBABLY

By bob Walsh

The formerly great state of California has decided that it is time to build a new reservoir.  It will be in Glenn and Colusa counties about 75 miles outside of Sacramento and will take "extra" water out of the Sacramento River.

The Governor, Gavin GOD I WANT TO BE PRESIDENT Newsom is using power he actually legally has to fast-track the project, meaning it might possibly actually be built in nine years.  Don't hold your breath on that.  The no-growth fanatics and tree-huggers will scream about it and may, or may not, be able to
get some traction.

California's water policy is kind of like the energy policy.  FORCE PEOPLE TO USE LESS AND PAY MORE.  A lot less and a lot more.  Whether Newsom will be able to actually get this to happen or not is questionable.  It SHOULD happen.  That, however, does not mean shit.

It will be called the Sites Reservoir and as of now the project manager is a guy named Jerry Brown.  (No relation to the former governor.)
