It
appears that there is a VERY realistic possibility that the UAW will
TURN DOWN the new contract proposal that gives them, among other things,
a raise of about 25%. The returns are very early from just a couple of
GM plants but so far it does NOT look wonderful for labor harmony among
the Big 3.
Could be a cold, thin holiday season if your primary income is from a UAW job.
