Illinois state Rep. Lisa Davis has introduced a bill that would legalize attacks on police officers by those appearing to have a mental health episode.
Illinois Representative Lisa Davis (D) is a fucking
idiot. She has just proposed HB 3458 which would, if passed into law,
would make physical attacks against police officers legally excusable if
the person doing the attacking was, at the time, having a "mental
health episode."
The bill
has been referred to the Rules Committee for consideration. The state
legislature in Illinois is, essentially, inhabited by a majority of
liberal morons. I would hope that even they would recognize the idiocy
this proposal represents, but I am not sure I would bet money on it.
