A CHANGE IN THE RULES

According to the Trump administration the old policy of a more-or-less automatic green card for the spouse of a U.S. citizen is now dead and stinking.  I am guessing the criteria will be largely "political" as opposed to financial or medical, but one never knows.  And it's fine with me.  We don't need radical nutters coming in on the coat tails of useful idiots.  We have enough home-grown radical nutters.  We don't need to import them.  If their spouses don't like that, they can move with their beloved to Asscrackistan or where ever the fuck they are from.
