BARBECUE TEACHABLE MOMENT

On yesterday’s CBS Morning Show, the weatherman was in Kansas City where he was reporting from the scene of a championship barbecue cook-off.

He was interviewing a big burly Texan in his sixties who was explaining how to prepare and slow cook pork and beef ribs Texas style.

I suspect the weatherman wanted to know the different taste or whatever between pork and beef ribs when he asked, "What’s the difference between pork ribs and beef ribs?"

Without hesitation, the poker-faced Texan answered in a deep monotone, "Pork ribs come from hogs, beef ribs come from cows."

With the quality and intellegence of most news anchors and weathermen these days...the old guy gave the right answer
