The local constabulary terminally rehabilitated a Gold Star Parolee in beautiful downtown San Berdoo early today.

Adrian Gutierrez, 28, of San Bernardino, just got out of the slammer last month and was on parole. A cop saw a traffic violation and attempted to stop him. Instead Gutierrez took off. I guess his driving was a little rusty, he crashed into a tree at 17th and G about 2:00 a.m., after fleeing about two blocks. At that point he jumped out of the car and beat feet, then stopped, turned with two guns and opened fire on the cop.

He found out the hard way that it is actually very hard to shoot accurately with two guns. The cop shot much better with only one. The cop was not hurt. Gutierrez was terminally rehabilitated. Too bad, so sad.
