Transgender defense is a first

It is barely possible that this case will set some new law. Douglas Perry is believed to be a serial killer, having killed several women 20 + years ago. Trouble is, Douglas Perry does not exist, Douglas is now Donna.
Douglas-Donna Perry, 62, is currently in custody in Spokane, being held against a $1 million bail. The person in custody says that she didn’t kill anybody, Douglas did, Donna stopped it. She said that Douglas killed nine hookers years ago. She asserts that Donna is non-violent, though somewhat paranoid.
A couple of experts on transgender issues have said that this defense is a crock.
