We have all seen them alongside the roadway, commemorating traffic deaths.
Sarah Segal has petitioned the Georgia DOT for permission to erect a pretty substantial memorial alongside Hwy 129 near Gainesville where a notable truck crash occurred resulting in many “casualties.” The memorial would be in the shape of a 10-foot tall tombstone. The inscription would read, “In memory of the dozens of terrified chickens who died as a result of a truck crash. Go Vegan.” The tombstone would include the image of a chicken. PETA is supporting her initiative. There were no human deaths as a result of the crash.
It is interesting and maybe even amusing, unless you are a militant Vegan or perhaps a chicken.
