Joyce Mitchell, a former employee of the New York DOC, was denied parole for her role in the escape of two convicted murderers from Dannemora four years ago. She provided tools they used to break out and was maybe-probably supposed to pick them up ooutside the walls, but did not.
She is doing 2 1/2 to 7 and will be up for parole consideration again in two years.
