Kenneth Linquester is never going to see kindergarten. He found a
handgun in a bedside table drawer at his home in Aloha, Oregon on
Friday. He managed to shoot himself in the head with it.
There
is no specific safe storage law in Oregon but it is not impossible to
make a child endangerment charge out of such a case. The matter is
under review by the D.A.
