TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA GOVERNORS TRAVEL TO ISRAEL TO PLEDGE THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE JEWISH STATE
Governor Greg Abbott yesterday met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli President Isaac Herzog, and other Israeli officials in Jerusalem to discuss ways Texas can continue to support the people of Israel as they fight to defend their freedom amid the Israel-Hamas war. Joined by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt during the trip, Governor Abbott also traveled to Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center – Ichilov Hospital where he visited with victims impacted by heinous acts of war committed by Hamas.
In Jerusalem, Governors Abbott and Stitt met with Prime Minister
Netanyahu to extend Texas’ complete and total support of Israel and its
right to self-defense. Governor Abbott highlighted the deep bond shared
between the people of Israel and Texas, emphasizing that Texas’ strong
relationship and support for freedom in Israel has never been more
important than it is today.

Well done Governors.
Somehow governor's running their own foreign policy bothers me.
Texas has a habit of standing up for what's right. HB 4 makes every peace officer in this state a state immigration officer. Not since the 70's could local police enforce immigration laws. I remember when Texas arrested illegal aliens and the Border Patrol would come to the local jails once a week and collect them. Texas will again arrest and charge illegals. Biden has let the entire country down but the border states have really taken the blows. Not only does Texas support Israel, but it is sending financial support. I'm proud of Texas for telling the world that we support Israel.
