BOOK REVIEW / RECOMMENDATION

By bob Walsh

A new novel by Stephen Coonts came out two days ago. It is called Liberty’s Last Stand. It is one hell of a good read.

The principle bad guy is the President of the United States, Barry Soetoro, a hard-core liberal progressive idiot. He has a cadre of sycophants and fellow travelers advising him. When several terrorist attacks take place, which he was marginally complicit in due to them being done by “refugees” he allowed into the country, he suspends habeas corpus, enacts martial law and shuts down congress. He arrests most of his political opponents, including elected officials, talk radio personalities and similar dangerous malcontents. When he directs the military to attack American citizens many refuse, desert or go over to the other side. The situation goes to hell from there.

I don’t want to spoil it for you, but it does end poorly for Barry.

When US was attacked in WWII we went to war and killed our enemies. When 911 happened we went to war and killed our enemies.
When we pulled out of Iraq we destabilized the middle East and our enemies are killing Americans as radicalized terrorists.

The only way to win is to declare war and kill our enemies.

We should have learned this lesson in Vietnam. You're either in a war to win or you will lose.

It's called killing plain and simple. We're either going to kill them or we're going to be killed.
