SEN. MCCAIN HAD A TRUMP MOMENT BUT LATER SAID HE MISSPOKE

McCain said Obama was “directly responsible” for the Orlando massacre

Immediately after Omar Mateen’s Islamic terrorist attack on the Pulse nightclub, Donald Trump went on a rant blaming Obama and Hillary for the Orlando massacre. On Thursday Sen. John McCain told reporters on Capitol Hill that Obama was “directly responsible” for the Orlando massacre.

“Barack Obama is directly responsible for it because when he pulled everybody out of Iraq, al Qaeda went to Syria, became ISIS, and ISIS is what it is today thanks to Barack Obama's failures -- utter failures, by pulling everybody out of Iraq, thinking that conflicts end just because you leave. So the responsibility for it lies with President Barack Obama and his failed policies.”

After Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid's spokesman said, “Senator McCain's unhinged comments are just the latest proof that Senate Republicans are puppets of Donald Trump,” the Arizona senator backtracked, saying:

“I misspoke. I did not mean to imply that the President was personally responsible. I was referring to President Obama's national security decisions, not the President himself. As I have said, President Obama's decision to completely withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq in 2011 led to the rise of ISIL.”

Thus McCain had a Trump moment, albeit a brief one. However, his clarification is spot on.

McCain has become a senile old weasel. Damn shame. He thinks he is still relevant to anything but really isn't and it pisses him off, when he remembers where and who he is.

If McCain had truly done his job the VA wouldn't be in shambles.

Meanwhile in Texas...

Governor Abbott has authorized Texas Parks and Wildlife to come up with fees and the number of tags that can be issued for year long ISIS Hunting. There should be no bag limit as in wild hog hunting but each dead ISIS member must be ear tagged for state record keeping. Jr. Hunters ages 10 through 15 must attend an assault rifle readiness course put on by area VFW Posts.
