SEEMS IT WASN’T THAT RARE AT ALL

By Bob Walsh

I have only caught small bits of this on the news today (07-05) but it seems that a justice of the D. C. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled today, in a case NOT directly related to Hillary Clinton, that federal officials can NOT use private email servers to evade FOIA requests.

Obviously at least one other federal official has used this little trick and, before today, managed to keep his official emails exempt from FOIA by the simple expedient of keeping them on a server and account not controlled by a government agency.
