A southern Oregon man was arrested Monday after authorities say he sexually assaulted a chicken.
Joshua Woltmon, 27, of Medford remained Tuesday in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail on accusations of sexual assault of an animal, public indecency, menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct.
Woltmon exposed himself and came into contact with the chicken's genitals, prosecutors allege in court documents. He is also accused of threatening another man with sharp sticks in the same incident.
A Medford police sergeant said he didn't have any other details on the case Tuesday.
Court records in a 2014 guardianship case described Woltmon then as functioning at the level of a 7-year-old, suffering from bipolar disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and unable to make informed decisions.
EDITOR’S NOTE: According to court documents, Woltmon “unlawfully and for the purpose of arousing and gratifying the sexual desire of a person [touched or contacted] the sex organs of a chicken” and that he exposed himself before coming into contact with the genitals of the chicken.
This would never happen in Texas. Fucking a pig, yes. Fucking a horse, yes. But even a mentally impaired Texan would never fuck a fucking chicken!

It looks like he made a decision alright. Poor chickens.
I once gave an inmate six months loss of good time credit for the same thing. Since bestiality is not actually illegal in CA it was presented as felony animal abuse.
