EVEN LIBERALS HAVE THEIR LIMITS...AT LEAST IN PUBLIC

Kathy Griffin is a well-know, second string comic. She is a well-known liberal, as one would expect. Yesterday she posted a bit on the net with her holding what appeared to be Donald Trump's severed, bloody head. The shit-storm was not quite instantaneous.

CNN at first said NO BIG DEAL, ignoring the fact that when a white Rodeo Clown showed up in the arena a few years ago wearing a Barack Obama mask they wanted to lynch him. He was in fact banned from rodeo work for the rest of his life.

Strangely though (or maybe not so strange) the advertisers started giving some VERY NEGATIVE feedback to CNN. Some half-assed reasonable liberals (yes, there are two or three out there) finally agreed that it was over the line. The Trumpists of course went bat-shit crazy, as one would expect.

In any event Ms. Griffin made a public apology, which may or may not have been sincere. She did admit it was over the line, and also not very funny. She was fired by CNN from her New Years Eve gig with CNN.

So, will this have any lasting negative effect on her career. Don't bet on it.
