The basic facts of the case are not in question. On July 12 of 2013 Barry White, 27, went into a small jewelry store in San Francisco and slit the throats of two clerks and shot and wounded the owner. He then engaged the police in a gun battle, after he ran out of ammo he surrendered.
White's public defender is asserting that White was mentally disabled by being shot in the head by the cops in 2009. Allegedly the ensuing mental defect makes him not guilty. Strange how he was crazy enough to shoot at the cops but sane enough to surrender when he ran out of ammo.
